We drill holes in high-quality stainless steel to make sieves for cheese production. Holes of 0.05 to 0.6 millimetres diameter are drilled in the blank at a frequency of 20 to 50 holes per second. The industrial cheese sieve contains up to a million very small holes.

When we are drilling a filter tube, all employees in the production hall know about it. The noise created by this drilling process is reminiscent of the chattering of a machine gun.
